In this role, the therapy review department performs retrospective utilization and medical necessity reviews on speech, physical and occupational therapies provided to Medicaid recipients, under the age of 21, who reside in the state of Arkansas.
We assist physicians in implementing ePrescribing and perform the Management of Medicaid Quality Initiatives and Technical Support (MMQI) contract from Arkansas Medicaid.
The MMQI contract involves contract management and program evaluation inclusive of quality improvement strategies, project management of the Regional Quality Initiative for healthcare measurement and provision of technical support to the Medical Director/Health Policy for the purpose of assisting with development of state healthcare policy.
