and inform partners and clients about quality improvement efforts
in Tennessee. All publications are offered free-of-charge.
eNewsletters and Briefs
IQ: Improving Quality eNewsletter
IQ: Patient Safety is a quarterly publication for participants and stakeholders. The newsletters will highlight interventions that are successful and spotlight the outstanding work done by our participating facilities and our stakeholders.
IQ: CKD Improving Quality Newsletter
IQ: Chronic Kidney Disease is produced quarterly by QSource's in-house Communication staff. The publications focus on clinical topics facing each care setting. They feature best practice stories about clinicians, links to online tools and resources, and insight to the issues facing healthcare.
IQ: Improving Quality e-brief
Our monthly e-briefs are supplemental to the quarterly publications. IQ: CKD e-briefs focus on clinical topics important to clinicians and provides links to websites and online tools to assist in the improvement of healthcare quality.
Arkansas' Therapy Review Update e-brief
Our quarterly Therapy Review Update focuses on important clinical resources and updates for clinicians and provides links to websites and online tools.

This award-winning report highlights the work QSource and it’s
provider partners have done to improve the quality of care for
people with Medicare in Tennessee. Filled with statistics, data
and important details of improvement efforts, the report is a
must read for any person interested in quality improvement.

Medical Services Review Report
QSource
publishes a yearly update of review complaints concerning the quality
of care received by Medicare patients. The report outlines the
guidelines used to determine what services a Medicare patient received,
if standards of care are met and what actions may have been taken
to resolve a complaint.

Efforts to Reduce Healthcare Disparities (2002-2005)
As part of our Medicare contract, QSource’s UQIOSC Division
produced a wrap-up report focusing on national activity for reducing
healthcare disparities. The report features each state’s
quality improvement organizations efforts from 2002 to 2005.
The State of Diabetes Care Provided to Medicare Beneficiaries
Living in Rural America
This report presents a national profile of diabetes care provided
to Medicare beneficiaries ages 18 to 75 and living in urban,
semi-rural and rural communities across the country based on
Part A and Part B claims data between 1999 to 2001. The Journal
of Rural Health, the National Rural Health Association and Blackwell
Publishing originally published this report. The article or any
part cannot be sold or reproduced for commercial purposes and
is only available for literary review and citation.
