Our focus in Alabama is serving its more than 960,000 citizens with Medicare as part of the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) five-state coalition known as atom Alliance.
Partnering with the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation (AQAF), atom Alliance maintains staff throughout the state to readily respond to stakeholder needs. We promote and support strategic, data-driven quality initiatives that improve health outcomes and lower costs. Our staff convenes provider-patient communities in learning and action networks (LANs) and activities such as technical assistance, diabetes self-management education (DSME), a patient advisory council and quality measure reporting.
The Qsource Practice Solutions division oversees the Medicare Quality Payment Program-Small, Rural and Underserved Support (QPP-SURS) in Tennessee and Alabama. We offer hands-on training and educational resources, inspire improvements and drive changes to assist providers with the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance categories, continuous quality improvement, optimized health information technology (HIT) and options for Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs).
Qsource continues to seek partnerships and opportunities in the state. Contact us for services available to healthcare providers, patients and other stakeholders.
