Healthcare is personal, and the experience with the health care system is different for each individual. An individual’s experience of the health care system is influenced by his or her personal preferences and values, family situation, cultural traditions, and lifestyle.
Qsource promotes healthcare that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs and values. We look forward to developing and implementing a CMS-directed Patient and Family Engagement Campaign that supports the DHHS and CMS goals of person-centeredness and family engagement and promotes statewide quality improvement that aligns with the National Quality Strategy. The campaign is scheduled to begin on August 1, 2012.
