Reducing Rates of Pressure Ulcers
Our goal is to help nursing homes contribute to a 40% national reduction in healthcare-acquired conditions (HACs) due to pressure ulcers and restraints.
Pressure ulcers are a significant source of pain and suffering, especially among the elderly. Many factors put residents at risk of developing pressure ulcers, including existing patient medical conditions and healthcare-related practices.
Qsource works directly with nursing home staff to improve the quality and reliability of patient care and eliminate factors that may lead to harm.
