QIO News has moved to a new electronic home. In addition to a fresh look, the new CMS site features the ability to download stories in PDF format, a place to submit story ideas, and is now accessible via mobile devices.

The Medicare QIO Program has identified effective improvement strategies and helped providers deliver safer, more effective care. We will build on these successes to achieve bold goals. We seek and welcome participation by patients, improvement science experts, front-line healthcare providers and others.

Partnership for Patients is a public-private partnership that offers support to physicians, nurses and other clinicians working in and out of hospitals to make patient care safer and to support effective transitions of patients from hospitals to other settings.
