Since 1973, Qsource has been committed to assisting with the quality of care and utilization of services provided to healthcare consumers. Our primary focus has been on Medicare and Medicaid populations, but our quality improvement services benefit all healthcare providers and the communities they serve.

Qsource helps facilitate provider/practitioner participation in multiple national and state quality initiatives through our divisions and subsidiaries. For more than four decades, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has contracted with Qsource to improve the care delivered to people with Medicare. We have expanded quality improvement assistance to include evolving healthcare practitioner needs such as workflow assessment, quality data abstraction/reporting, trauma, end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and health information technology.

We offer setting-specific and topic-specific training events, tools and resources to help providers/practitioners improve in selected quality measures and in meeting compliance requirements. Our quality improvement teams work hand-in-hand with healthcare professionals to assist in improving the quality of care.

Trauma Quality Improvement Organization

Our affiliate, Qsource-Arkansas serves as the Trauma Quality Improvement Organization for Arkansas.

We review the quality of services provided to patients at facility, regional and statewide levels; and promote optimal outcomes for Arkansas trauma patients using collaborative outreach and education throughout the trauma care system. We also collect and analyze Arkansas trauma performance measure data and create reports for key trauma stakeholders and providers.

We work with the Arkansas Department of Health, the Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council and the Trauma Regional Advisory Councils to perform this work.
