Denise Gee, DHA, MBA, CSSBB

Denise Gee is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning quality, regulatory compliance, human resources, training and enterprise operations. She holds a Doctor of Healthcare Administration, magna cum laude, from Virginia University of Lynchburg and an MBA, summa cum laude, from Purdue Global University. Her career includes leadership across memory care, senior living, behavioral health hospital systems, and healthcare quality organizations, giving her a broad perspective on the clinical, workforce, regulatory, and operational challenges that shape healthcare delivery. 

Denise currently serves as Compliance Officer and leads Quality and Corporate Services at Qsource, where her responsibilities span the organization’s consulting division, human resources, marketing and communications, growth, information technology, compliance, and other enterprise functions. Throughout her career, she has been known for working across traditional organizational boundaries, bringing clinical, operational, and support teams together to solve problems, strengthen systems, manage risk, and improve organizational performance. 

Her work increasingly focuses on the intersection of healthcare quality, behavioral health, technology, and organizational transformation. She is helping expand Qsource’s behavioral health offerings through services designed to strengthen how organizations respond to behavioral and psychosocial needs across care settings. She is also advancing the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to support better use of data, regulatory alignment, operational effectiveness, and informed decision-making while preserving the essential role of human and clinical judgment. 

Denise is passionate about helping people and organizations navigate challenges, remove barriers, and reach their full potential. She was named an MSNBC Know Your Value finalist and completed Johnson & Johnson’s Human Performance Institute Corporate Athlete program. She has also been recognized by the D’Aniello Foundation and Nielsen for her work supporting veteran employment initiatives and is the author of multiple books on human resources compliance. 

In addition to her doctoral and graduate education, Denise is a graduate of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University and a SCORE Certified Small Business Mentor. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
