Quality Link FAQ
Have Question? We are here to help.
How is Quality Link different from other online tools?
Online tools and services often provide resources like written policies, articles, and databases that your team can reference, are great but it’s more of a DIY approach. Your staff still has to interpret the material, create training, and figure out how to apply it. Quality Link goes beyond resources. Quality Link provides live connections with experts, educators, and a multi-disciplinary support team to make that information work for your facility.
Who can benefit from membership?
Any skilled nursing facility or long-term care organization seeking consistent compliance support, stronger survey readiness, or sustainable QAPI results will benefit. Whether your facility struggles with repeat deficiencies, high-risk resident care, or staff turnover, Quality Link provides the coaching and systems to create lasting improvements.
How does Quality Link help with survey readiness?
Quality Link builds proactive systems, so your facility is always survey ready. Monthly chart reviews, real-time audit feedback, and ongoing coaching help identify issues before they lead to citations. Members also receive leadership development and QAPI support to keep improvements in place long after surveys are complete.
Does membership replace QIO participation?
No. Membership complements QIO participation. QIOs provide important high-level technical assistance, but membership takes those tools further by offering deeper coaching, facility-specific mentoring, and ongoing accountability systems that create lasting results.
How long is membership?
Memberships are a year-long commitment with renewal annually.
How do payments work?
Yes! Select courses include Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Nursing Home Administrators and Nurses.
Do you provide CEUs through Quality Link?
Yes! Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided for Nursing Home Administrators and Nurses.
How does the AI-powered regulatory coach (Qualie) work?
Qualie is Qsource’s proprietary AI-powered regulatory coach, built entirely in-house to provide reliable, compliance-focused guidance. Unlike open web-based AI tools, Qualie operates in a closed system for security and accuracy. His knowledge base is carefully trained on hand-selected, authoritative resources, and our clinical experts continually update and expand it with the latest regulatory and best-practice information. This means you can trust Qualie to deliver accurate, relevant answers tailored to the long-term care and healthcare environment.
Do unused consulting hours roll over?
If you are within your 90-day survey window, special scheduling to allocate consulting hours can be made. However, outside the survey window, hours do not roll over.
What types of training topics are covered?
Quality Link has a comprehensive training and education plan covering topics such as critical F-Tags, staff retention, infection control, medication management, resident rights, and Star rating improvement.
Do you help with Plans of Correction and Immediate Jeopardy citations?
Absolutely! You may choose to use your built-in consulting hours for these services, and they are available as additional consulting services to add on to your membership plan.
Can I add services (like a mock survey or plan of correction support) onto my membership?
Yes, you can! Reach out to Solutions@qsource.org to add services to your membership plan.
Do you offer discounts for multi-facility or corporate groups?
Yes! Reach out to Solutions@Qsource.org for assistance.
How much time does my team need to commit to Quality Link?
Quality Link is flexible and adapts to your facility’s needs. All members can use the AI Regulatory Coach, on-demand training, and updates whenever it fits your schedule. Standard and Premium memberships include consulting hours and reviews, but you decide how and when to use them—you schedule monthly calls based on your priorities and availability. Elite members add a 3-day onsite mock survey, which is scheduled at a convenient time and planned to minimize disruption.
How many seats does my facility get with a Quality Link membership?
Every membership includes three user seats, giving you full access to the AI Regulatory Coach (Qualie), on-demand training, and member resources. One seat is designated for your Administrator, one for your Nurse leader and the third seat is for anyone of your choosing. Facilities that want multiple team members to log in can purchase additional seats.
Are there any restrictions on Quality Link memberships?
Yes. Each membership applies to one facility only, and personal email addresses (such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook) are not permitted. All members must register with their facility’s business email address to ensure secure access and accurate tracking of facility-level benefits.
What do I get with the Essentials membership?
Quality Link Essentials provides base-level support with access to our 24/7 AI Regulatory Coach, on-demand training, regulatory updates, and exclusive member-only webinars. It’s budget-friendly and best if you don’t currently need consulting hours or CEUs but still want access to core benefits. Essentials members also receive discounts on additional services—like consulting support, CEU opportunities, or mock surveys—if those needs arise in the future.
Best for facilities that want affordable access to core tools and updates without consulting or CEUs.
How does the Standard membership help my facility?
Quality Link Standard includes everything in Essentials plus two hours of monthly 1:1 consulting, high-risk chart and incident reviews, compliance/QAPI check-ins, CEUs, quarterly train-the-trainer sessions, and service discounts. It’s a great option if you want CEUs, training support for staff, and direct expert guidance on regulatory issues, QAPI, MDS, or other challenges. Standard strengthens processes and improves survey readiness without requiring a full mock survey.
Best for facilities that want ongoing consulting, CEUs, and hands-on support to improve compliance and readiness.
When should I choose the Premium membership?
Quality Link Premium builds on Standard by adding a risk assessment and a Mini-Mock virtual survey, with a detailed post-survey report to identify and remediate issues. It’s designed for facilities that need more than standard support, want to uncover vulnerabilities, and prefer targeted expert recommendations to boost confidence before survey.
Best for facilities that want proactive risk assessments and mini-mock surveys to catch issues early.
Who benefits most from the Elite membership?
Quality Link Elite includes everything in Standard plus a full risk assessment and a 3-day onsite mock survey, with a comprehensive post-survey report. (Travel costs billed separately.) This level is ideal if you’ve faced difficult surveys in the past, are unsure where vulnerabilities lie, or want the assurance of a thorough preparatory survey. Elite members gain insight into hidden risks, receive corrective action guidance, and build stronger survey readiness overall.
Best for facilities seeking the highest level of preparation through full onsite mock surveys and detailed corrective guidance.
