Qsource Advances National Impact with ESRD Network Expansion
Qsource is proud to announce its role as the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network provider for Networks 16 and 17, in partnership with Mountain Pacific Quality Health. This reflects continued national confidence in Qsource’s ability to drive measurable improvements in dialysis care and patient outcomes.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ESRD Network Program plays a critical role in improving the quality, safety and accessibility of care for individuals living with kidney disease. These networks support dialysis facilities, providers and patients through data-driven quality initiatives, patient engagement efforts and regulatory alignment that strengthens care delivery across the continuum.
Expanding Reach Across ESRD Networks
This work comes at a time of continued evolution in the ESRD landscape, as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) places greater emphasis on quality measurement, patient-centered outcomes and accountability across dialysis providers. Supporting Networks 16 and 17 extends Qsource’s work into new regions with diverse patient populations and operational needs.
“Qsource continues its decade-long commitment to improving care for patients with kidney disease across the country,” said Mary-Lyn Baldauf, CEO of Qsource. “Serving Networks 16 and 17 allows us to bring our quality-focused approach to new regions while building strong, collaborative partnerships that support providers and patients alike.”
Strengthening Collaboration with Mountain Pacific
Qsource’s partnership with Mountain Pacific brings together two organizations with deep experience in quality improvement and federal healthcare programs. The collaboration is designed to strengthen support for dialysis facilities while maintaining a clear focus on improving patient outcomes and experience.
Jill Alessi, Mountain Pacific Quality Health CEO shared, “Partnering with Qsource allows us to leverage complementary strengths and deepen our impact across the ESRD Networks we serve. Together, we are focused on delivering meaningful improvements in care coordination, patient engagement, and clinical outcomes.”
Building on Proven Experience
Qsource’s experience supporting ESRD Networks has consistently focused on helping providers translate regulatory expectations into practical, sustainable improvements. This approach will continue as the organization integrates into Networks 16 and 17, with a focus on aligning data, clinical practice and operational processes.
“Each ESRD Network has its own set of challenges, but the goal remains the same,” said Rebel McKnight, Qsource’s Vice President of Operations. “We are working alongside providers to strengthen processes, improve outcomes, and ensure patients receive the highest quality care possible. This expansion gives us the opportunity to apply what we have learned while tailoring our approach to meet the needs of these communities.”
Looking Ahead
For providers and patients within Networks 16 and 17, this transition brings expanded access to quality improvement resources, data-driven insights and collaborative support. Qsource’s work will continue to focus on practical strategies that align with CMS expectations while addressing real-world challenges faced by dialysis providers.
As the ESRD landscape continues to evolve, this partnership positions Qsource to expand its national impact, strengthen systems of care and support better outcomes for individuals living with kidney disease.
