Qsource Partners with Superior Health Quality Alliance to Expand Quality Improvement

Qsource is excited to announce its expanded role as a partner to the Superior Health Quality Alliance (Superior Health) following the recent award of the 13th Scope of Work (SOW) by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As a veteran Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization (QIN QIO), Qsource is joining Superior Health to strengthen quality and safety initiatives for Medicare providers across the Great Lakes region.
Under this five-year contract, Qsource will lend its proven expertise in data-driven quality improvement, communications, education, patient safety, and analytics to drive excellence for providers in the Great Lakes region.
“Qsource is honored to partner with Superior Health,” said Mary Lyn Baldauf, CEO of Qsource. “By combining our 50+ years of quality improvement leadership in the Midwest with Superior Health’s regional strength, we can deliver immediate, sustainable impact for providers and Medicare beneficiaries.”
Together, we will build on Superior Health’s impressive record—including avoiding more than 270,000 harms, reducing hospital readmissions by 21%, and delivering over $1 billion in measurable value in the past five years.
Aligned with CMS national priorities, Qsource and Superior Health will offer a comprehensive portfolio of no-cost technical assistance, including:
• Chronic disease management
• Behavioral health integration
• Enhanced patient safety
• Improved care coordination
• Focused efforts on health equity
This collaboration reflects CMS’s confidence in our combined capabilities to foster innovation, data-driven strategies, and lasting improvements in quality of care across diverse communities.
