Qsource Supports Hurricane Helene Recovery with Charitable Donation

As part of its ongoing commitment to community well-being and disaster response, Qsource has pledged $15,000 in support of relief efforts following Hurricane Helene. The Qsource Board of Directors unanimously approved the allocation, reaffirming the organization's mission to advance health and improve lives, especially during times of crisis.
After a thorough review of potential partners, Qsource selected the Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) as the primary recipient. A well-established disaster response nonprofit, GEM has mobilized resources nationwide to meet the urgent needs of Hurricane Helene survivors. Qsource’s donation of $15,000 to GEM will directly support recovery efforts, including the distribution of emergency supplies, shelter assistance, and long-term rebuilding initiatives for families and healthcare providers impacted by the storm.
“Supporting resilient communities is core to Qsource’s work,” said Mary-Lyn Baldauf, Qsource CEO. “We are proud to partner with organizations like GEM that take immediate, coordinated action to bring relief to vulnerable populations during natural disasters.”
In addition to the GEM contribution, Qsource has reserved $5,000 to support future disaster recovery needs. This reserve allows the organization to remain agile in its philanthropic response and assist healthcare communities affected by future emergencies.
Qsource’s commitment to health improvement goes beyond regulatory consulting and quality programs—it extends to strengthening the systems and communities that underpin care. Through partnerships, education, and funding support, Qsource continues to champion safety and preparedness across the healthcare continuum.
