Qsource to Present Two Sessions at 2026 THCA/TNCAL Convention

Qsource will join long-term care professionals from across Tennessee at the 2026 THCA/TNCAL Convention & Trade Show, taking place August 26 through 28 at Music City Center in Nashville. The annual event brings together skilled nursing and assisted living leaders for education, professional connection, and practical solutions to the challenges facing long-term care.

 

This year, Qsource will present two educational sessions focused on strengthening interdisciplinary care and improving resident safety. Qsource is also sponsoring the massage booth in the exhibit hall, giving attendees a place to pause, recharge, and connect during the convention.

Strong resident outcomes depend on more than the work of any single department. They require an interdisciplinary team that can recognize risk, communicate clearly, coordinate interventions, and follow through.

 

During this session, attendees will learn how to move from fragmented, task-based processes to a structured interdisciplinary approach using Qsource’s 4 I’s Framework: Identify, Involve, Intervene, and Improve.

 

Through real-world cases involving behavioral health, high-risk transfers, and complex medication management, participants will explore how to identify true root causes, strengthen accountability, implement measurable interventions, and use QAPI to sustain improvement. The session will include practical tools such as fishbone diagrams and the 5 Whys that teams can use to improve communication, survey readiness, and resident care.

Fall prevention should protect residents without unnecessarily limiting their independence. This session will help assisted living leaders build a more proactive and person-centered approach to fall management.

 

Attendees will learn how to conduct meaningful fall investigations, recognize patterns and trends, develop individualized interventions, and engage the full interdisciplinary team. Amanda will also share practical strategies for creating sustainable fall prevention programs that strengthen staff awareness, reduce avoidable injuries, and support resident safety and independence.
